ENGLISH KEY WORDS

The Oleander Press is delighted to announce the imminent publication of the latest in its ground-breaking Oleander Key Words series– English Key Words. Produced in response to demand from language schools and individual tutors of English as a Foreign Language, English Key Words continues the Oleander Key Words' tradition of a frequency- based vocabulary list presented in easy-learn groups of twenty from which many more can be derived. The first 10 words are so common that they account for 25% of total occurrences in a huge lexical universe; the first hundred account for 50%; and the first thousand for 75%. The full 2000 key words represent 85% of all English words in a corpus of over 10 million. Read more here.
